Life After

with one comment

Persephone raped and battered,
Dragged through a hell of sideways
Glances and whispers.

Reliving the stealing away.
Not able to survive without
The judgment of the stars.

Doomed to be tied to it forever.
All because of a seed
That she thought she wanted.

  1. wow! there is no mincing of words here. Short direct and filled with meaning. you certainly grabs the readers attention. However isn’t the beginning of life more than merely a seed? You really had me thinking here.
